INVESTMENT ADVISORS

Many of my students have chosen to pursue careers in Private Wealth Management.

I think I can provide a valuable service to them – and the investing public – by allowing them, through my website, to present their own particular value proposition.

There is one very simple criterion for inclusion:  Based on my personal experience with these individuals, if something happened to me and I could not take care of my family’s finances, I would be perfectly comfortable if my wife and son worked with any of these individuals.

That being said, if you are working with any investment professional, make sure you understand their investing philosophy, fee structure, and make sure that this is someone whom you want to work with.

Position

I have been a retail portfolio manager for the past 23 years.  I believe in building portfolios with individual securities rather than using managed product, and the cash yields from my portfolios tend to exceed the yield on 10-year Canadian and US government bond yields.
