Views: 6
We are launching a $40,000 NFL investing fund. My former partner (known from this point forward as the Fund Manager) is putting up $20,000 and I am matching that amount. The Fund Manager will be actively managing that $40,000 in capital. I will have no input on the selections he will make. The only limitation is that all wagers MUST pertain to the National Football League. The arrangement we have is that he will guarantee that I will receive $21,000 no later than one week after the end of the NFL season, a minimum holding period return of 5%. I will receive 100% of the first 25% of returns, and then anything after that, he will capture 100% of those gains. Therefore, should he return (for example 40%), then I will enjoy 25% of that based on my $20,000 commitment, and he will receive 15% of that. On a weekly basis – either Tuesday or Wednesday – there will be a complete update of the past week’s games.
